William Hagler is a lifelong Atlanta native who never strayed far from his hometown. He studied Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech and graduated in 2006. His path crossed with Paulson-Cheek early on. While still a student, he interned with the company in 2003 and joined full-time after graduation.

At Paulson-Cheek, William has held roles across the organization, including Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Operations Manager, Vice President, and ultimately President. His tenure demonstrates the growth opportunities in the dynamic, continually expanding company.

His interest flourished, leading him to switch his major to marketing with a focus on sales management.
Josh's sales career kicked off in 2004 with door-to-door copier sales. The summer heat was brutal, but he treasured the personal connections he was making. This experience, enriched by his public speaking skills and academic focus, guided him to Paulson-Cheek, where he embraced a truly relationship-driven sales approach. Josh's journey from college to professional sales underscores how foundational experiences can profoundly shape one’s career trajectory.

Taylor Cheek
Vice President
Taylor Cheek grew up in the HVAC industry as the son of Marshall Cheek, one of the founders of Paulson-Cheek. From a young age, he was groomed to join the family business. His passion for the industry was evident when he said he wanted to "be an air conditioner" as a child.

Taylor's passion for Industrial Engineering led him to follow in his father's footsteps and attend Georgia Tech. While pursuing his degree, he gained valuable experience by co-oping at Paulson-Cheek, where he was responsible for design drawings and engineering tasks. With his hard work and dedication, Taylor graduated from Georgia Tech in 2015, equipped with the skills and knowledge to make a positive impact in his field.

Immediately after graduation, Taylor joined Paulson-Cheek full-time in the preconstruction and sales department. He takes great pride in strengthening the company's relationships with existing customers and introducing Paulson-Cheek's capabilities to new clients. Taylor's approach focuses on being a partner and building trust through responsive service and open communication.
Highlight projects where he excelled at customer connection include the HVAC construction for Purple Mattress' manufacturing facility in Georgia and Luxottica's giant distribution center. On the Purple project, he enjoyed the challenge of meeting their unique process needs for piping proprietary gels throughout the facility.
